Anna (ah-nah), pronounced like the princess from Disney’s Frozen, is a singer, actor, vocal coach, songwriter, voice over artist, and all around creative! She passionately inspires others, both on and off the stage, through performance, writing, and individual coaching.
Anna received her BFA in musical theatre from Belmont University. She also spent time at the Stella Adler Conservatory in New York City, where she received certificates for acting (Summer Conservatory) and original work (Actor Warrior Program).
Some of her favorite roles have been Ellie Blake (Freaky Friday), Naomi (Stolen, orig. cast), and Sister Mary Martin of Tours (Sister Act)
She has also spent time on the land and sea, cruising with the American Empress (AQSC), and touring with the Missoula Children’s Theatre, Madcap Puppets, and Epic Assemblies (an original works arts troupe).
Anna’s original work has been featured in the Tennessee Women’s Theatre Project’s annual “Women’s Work Festival.” Not only that, Anna has been able to perform many of her original works at a national level, in addition to local events in Nashville and NYC.
Anna has been teaching voice for over nine years! She is a firm believer that vocal technique can be taught no matter the genre and enjoys uniquely crafting each lesson to the student’s specific needs, goals, or interests. If that’s a strong technical approach, building confidence, or simply, dusting off some cobwebs, she is here to help! “It is important to me that students love what they are singing, feel empowered to meet their goals, and have fun doing it!“ Her favorite things to teach are musical theatre and audition prep, worship leading, healthy belting, and mix technique. Send her an email or text if you have any questions or would like to talk further!
